Ready, Set, Blast Off! Join us for STEM camp taking learning to new heights.

Dates: July 8-12

Over the last decade, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education has become an essential aspect of not only the academic process, but our society as a whole.  As an institution that provides top-tier STEM courses, Saint Stanislaus is offering a STEM Camp for the summer of 2019.

Spend a week with Mr. Jeff Anderson, SSC Chemistry and STEM teacher, as we explore engineering problems and learn how to work together to solve them, with science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  This summer, the STEM camp will be exploring Rocketry in addition to learning about related topics such as thrust, force, aerodynamics, and trajectory.

Campers will have the opportunity to build and launch several different rockets such as straw-rockets, stomp rockets, soda bottle rockets, match-head rockets and their very own Estes rocket to take home at the end of the week.

STEM Camp will be from Monday, July 8th – Friday July 12th and each ession will go from 12:45 – 3:45.  The cost to attend this week is $200.  Drop off and pick up will be at Saint Stanislaus in front of the main school building which is located at 304 South Beach Blvd., Bay Saint Louis, MS 39520.
