Another Great Summer

Wednesday, 21 September 2016 by Sam Doescher

Another amazing summer has ended on the shores of the Mississippi Sound.  It was a great summer that saw over 390 campers enjoy the unique experience that is camp.  Many memories and friendships were made which extend past the Saint Stanislaus campus. First time campers were busy learning new skills and returning campers were busy

A Typical Day of Fun at Camp Stanislaus

Wednesday, 21 September 2016 by Sam Doescher

When someone asks what a typical day is like at Camp Stanislaus, my answer is always “non-stop fun.” We are a centralized camp which means every day is planned out.  We feel that this gives our campers the best opportunity to try activities that they may not have tried otherwise.  Every day campers enjoy two

In this post, we hear from Joe Masterson about his daughters time at Camp Stanislaus. Having property on the Coast, and planning to move there in the near future, our family would visit nearby Bay St. Louis on numerous occasions. One summer, prior to Katrina, I noticed several sailboats in the water near St. Stanislaus.

People will tell you Camp Stanislaus is a safe and fun place where kids can come to have a great summer and learn new things. Camp Stanislaus is located in Bay Saint Louis, MS, right on the white sands of the Gulf Coast, but that’s just its physical location. Camp goes deeper than just a

Summer Camp Helps Students Prepare for Life in College and Beyond

Wednesday, 21 September 2016 by Sam Doescher

Having worked at Camp Stanislaus for nearly nine years, I have been approached several times with the question: “Why should we send our children to summer camp?” To me, camp is a special place where kids are allowed to be themselves, make friends, and have fun, free from some of the distractions and pressures of their
